Nature Walk Desk Calendar

Ok, what do you think about this desk calendar?  I had an idea in my mind of what I wanted to make as thanks you for everyone coming to my SAB workshop tomorrow, and this is what I came up with.  Can't wait for everyone to come over tomorrow; this group of ladies has such stamping talent!  Here's the details:

I ran out of Cherry Cobbler ribbon and made these using Old Olive Satin Ribbon instead.  I think I like how this looks better!

Nature Walk

I cased the following card from one I saw on the incredibly talented Ilina Crouse's blog.  She has some wonderful projects posted on her blog HERE using the set, Nature Walk, which is from the new Occasions Mini Catalog.  I love the vintage look and this set makes is so easy to achieve that look!  This card actually was very simple to make, and I love how it turned out.  Here's the details:

Stamps: Nature Walk, You're a Gem
Inks/Markers: Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive
Papers: Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Botanical Gazette DP
Accessories: Big Shot, Framed Tulips EF, Scallop Trim Border Punch, Small Oval Punch, Old Olive Seam Binder Ribbon, CAD, Antique Brad, Sponge

Sweet Summer SAB

Sorry I wasn't able to post the details and the other card last night.  Chelsie and I ended up going out for dinner last night and spent some time talking about college and just "stuff".   It is so hard for me to think that in 8 months she will gone............

Anyway, below is another version of the card I made yesterday.  I changed it up by: tying the bow instead of just layering it, added some brads at the bottom, ran the designer paper through the Big Shot using the Perfect Polka Dot EF, colored in the saying with markers, and added another bee at the bottom.  Here's the details:

Stamps: Sweet Summer SAB, You're A Gem (saying from Occasions Mini)
Inks: Basic Black
Markers: Melon Mambo, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point, Basic Black
Papers: Whisper White, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Ice Cream Parlor SAB DP
Accessories: Big Shot, Perfect Polka Dot EF, Ice Cream Parlor Ribbon & Button, Small Oval Punch, Brights Brads, Dimensionals

Sweet Summer SAB

The new SAB set, Sweet Summer, is my favorite set from this year's brochure.  You can earn this cute set FREE by placing a $50.00 Stampin' Up! order; what a great deal!  I will post another sample that will show you how to take this card "to the next level" when I get home from work.  My morning has gotten away from me and I'm running late (as usual), here's a pic and I will post details later!  Have a good one...........

So Happy For You SAB

Sale-A-Bration starts tomorrow!!  Love how everyone can earn free goodies when they spend $50.00 or more on fab SU stuff!  I made the following card using the SAB set, So Happy for You; which is one of many items you get FREE when you purchase $50.00 in product.  For the stars I used the small star punch and the Glimmer Paper from the new Occasions Mini.  Love the shimmer and glitter of this card stock, and love that it's not messy to use!  This card is one of 4 projects I have planned for my Mystery Hostess Workshop this Sunday at 2:00; can't wait!!!  Here's the details:

Stamps: So Happy for You
Inks: Real Red
Papers: Whisper White, Real Red, Glimmer Paper

LNS & SCS Challenge

Ok, don't faint..........2 posts in 1 day!  I loved not having to work today, and the kids and I went to Olive Garden for lunch - yumm-o!  I thought I would combine this card for today's SCS Clean & Simple Challenge and this week's LNS challenge - which is to make a sympathy card.  I used Nature Walk again, but this time used Soft Suede, didn't do a second layer of designer paper, and added an antique brad.

Nature Walk

I finally got some time to stamp last night and made this card using the new set from the Occasions Mini, Nature Walk.  I cased this from a card that Lee Conrey has on her blog (you can find it here).  I loved the mono-chromatic look to it.  I used the new Framed Tulips embossing folder and feathered it using Early Espresso ink; added a small ribbon at the top of the bird cage and a small piece of the new designer paper, Botanical Gazette (which coordinates with this set).  Here's the details:

Stamps: Nature Walk
Inks: Early Espresso
Papers: Very Vanilla, Early Espresso, Botanical Gazette DP
Accessories: Big Shot, Framed Tulips EF, Round Tab Punch, Chantilly 1/2" Ribbon, Filigree Brad, Paper Piercing Tool, Sponge, Dimensionals
